As I mentionned earlier, I’m spending this week catching up on my Project Life album. I had very clear plan as to where I wanted to be in that process by today, because I am starting work on Monday (I am an archaeologist who specialises in human remains and I will be working in a Museum). So I wanted to have the bulk of my layouts prepared.

I made 36 individual pages for July, August and September. I am up to date in my layouts – photo and card wise. This means that none of my layouts are finished, but the bare bones (see what I did there?) of each page is ready.

The photos are chosen and printed, they are matched up with the PL cards I wanted to use and then they are slipped into the pockets.

You’ll notice that there are no (or very few) embellishments on the pages. It’s because I do that step at the same time as my journaling. One the good things about doing so many in a go is that I can use cards from different monthly kits (like this ‘Stay Golden’ card which arrived on my doorstep yesterday)

So now that the layouts are all arranged chronologically and that I have a good idea about what I want to document each week, it is easy for me to complete the pages in the evening, once the kids are in bed.

It was really cool to relive my summer while playing catch-up!

As soon as July’s pages are finished, I’ll be sharing them here, just like I’ve done in the past. If you have any questions about products used, don’t hesitate.
